The Wine Cellar is a specialty dining room which is open to the public and accommodates up to sixty people. Our wine cellar is available for private functions, specialty menus are available for private functions. A Carltun representative is available to help you design a menu appropriate to the occasion.
In the wine cellar, our guest dine in a beautifully appointed room whose perimeter is surrounded on three sides by a glass enclosed, world renowned wine collection. The glass front permits our guest to not only inspect our wines that are on display, but also to feel the ambiance created by dining amongst the 40,000 bottles kept in storage to provide the 2,000 selections on our wine list.
Our wine tasting dinners, featuring our degustation menu, are open to the public on Friday evenings. The menu is also available for private functions in the wine cellar.
Carltun's special wine-tasting dinner consists of an six course dining experience with wine paired to compliment the extraordinary fare prepared by our internationally-acclaimed chef. From appetizers to desserts, each course is sure to please the most discerning diner.
Amongst the wines included in our wine-tasting dinner are champagne, white Burgundy, Chardonnay, a French Bordeaux or California Cabernet Sauvignon followed by a dessert wine, all of which are carefully chosen by our Sommelier and selected weekly.
The price is $110.00 per person, plus tax and service charge. Beverages other than wines for each dinner are available at an extra charge, however, we assure our guests that our degustation menu and accompanying wines are fit for a king and queen and more than certainly will satisfy any appetite.
